Welcome to 4th Grade
We would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child as he/she enters 4th grade at Powell. We are looking forward to a productive and enjoyable year with your child.
Every Tuesday a Weekly Folder will be sent home with a progress report. This is to keep you informed of your child's progress in his/her classwork and behavior. Please take the time to go over this work with your child so that you can react to any strengths or weaknesses he/she may have at that point. You may ask questions or express concerns on the comment side, sign and return the folder on Wednesday. Any important notes or announcements from the office or the teachers will also be enclosed. This way we can be assured of open communication between home and school.
We look forward to working with you and your child this year. We hope that we can work together to provide your child with a positive learning environment for a successful year in 4th grade.
